“very friendly and always listen to what I was saying and very understanding which made me feel better about myself”
“My relationship with family is much better and you have shown me how to talk to them. I am very thankful that I had you for support I couldn't have asked for better thankyou”.
“My experience with choices has been positive. Sophie was friendly and approachable. When I have asked anything she has been able to answer this”.
“Sophie has been able to listen to me, and provide me with valuable help and advice. It has been a positive experience”. “I have been able to say what I wouldn’t say to anyone else”.
“I found the support very helpful. Sophie listened to me and was honest throughout our conversations. The information they shared was useful and helped me make decisions about my situation. It also helped me think more about the amount I was drinking and how it might be affecting me. I now know what a unit is.
Sophie was friendly and softly spoken, which made it easier for me to talk openly. I felt comfortable and not judged. Sophie has been very supportive”.
“I got support from choices because I developed a drinking problem I was drinking heavily every day from wine to vodka whatever I could get . I was drinking at lease four bottles of wine a day varying from twenty seven bottles a week to barely drinking at all. I had weekly support from the amazing Sophie. I found that drinking a glass of water after a glass or two of whatever you drink helps to stay on a nice level and not have to suffer the after math of being sick or getting too drunk. I have learnt a lot from choices, the dangers of alcohol and how to stay safe when drinking. I now only drink at celebrations and the odd weekend with family and friends. I would definitely recommend choices to anyone who is struggling or just needs someone to talk to. As someone who has been through it, it’s difficult, but choices helped me see that I’m more than what I drink and life can be enjoyable without it”.
